JSV Laser Shot Shooting Range
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the JSV Laser Shot Shooting Range facility (“Laser Shot”, “the Facility”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and apply to all persons who enter the premises or participate in any activity offered by the Facility (“participants”, “customers”, “you”).
By making a booking, entering the Facility, or participating in any session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
2. Nature of the Facility
2.1 JSV Laser Shot Shooting Range provides a laser-based skills practice environment only.
2.2 No live ammunition, firearms, or lethal weapons are used or permitted on the premises.
2.3 The Facility does not provide accredited training, certification, or formal firearms instruction unless explicitly stated in writing.
2.4 Participation is for recreational, skills practice, or internal assessment purposes only.
3. Bookings & Access
3.1 Sessions may be booked via WhatsApp, the website, or in person.
3.2 Walk-ins are accepted only if no other session is pending or in progress.
3.3 The Facility reserves the right to refuse entry or participation if capacity limits, safety considerations, or operational constraints require it.
4. Payments
4.1 Payment must be made before a session commences.
4.2 Accepted payment methods include:
- Card payments on site
- PayFast (online payment platform)
- Cash payments
4.3 Large group bookings require a 50% deposit, payable at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session.
4.4 Laser Shot does not store any customer card or banking details.
5. Cancellations & No-Shows
5.1 Cancellations should be communicated at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.
5.2 In the event of a no-show, Laser Shot will contact the customer to establish the reason for non-attendance.
5.3 Where a reasonable explanation is provided, customers may be permitted to rebook. Any deposit paid may be retained for the rescheduled session.
5.4 The acceptance of cancellations, explanations, or rebooking arrangements remains at the reasonable discretion of Laser Shot management.
6. Age Restrictions & Supervision
6.1 The minimum participant age is 7 years.
6.2 Minors must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult family member or authorised companion.
6.3 Group bookings involving minors require an adult approved by the parents or guardians to be present throughout the session.
7. Safety, Rules & Conduct
7.1 All participants must comply with Facility rules and staff instructions at all times.
7.2 Safety rules are explained and displayed prior to the commencement of each session.
7.3 Laser Shot reserves the right to remove any participant or terminate a session immediately if behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, unruly, or non-compliant.
7.4 No refunds are guaranteed where a session is terminated due to participant misconduct.
7.5 No participant may enter or participate while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair judgement or behaviour.
8. Use by Security Companies
8.1 Security companies may use the Facility as part of their own internal programmes.
8.2 Such use must be supervised by a qualified and registered facilitator appointed by the security company.
8.3 JSV Laser Shot Shooting Range is not a registered training provider and does not issue certification.
8.4 Printed session results may be provided as proof of participation only.
9. Assumption of Risk & Liability
9.1 Participation is undertaken at the participant’s own risk, subject to applicable law.
9.2 Laser Shot shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or claim except where liability cannot be excluded under South African law.
9.3 Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to participate.
10. CCTV & Photography
10.1 CCTV is used for safety, security, and operational purposes.
10.2 Photography or short video recordings may occur.
10.3 No identifiable images of minors will be used without guardian consent.
11. Acceptance of Terms
11.1 Acceptance of these Terms is required prior to participation.
11.2 Failure to accept may result in denial of access.
12. General
12.1 Laser Shot reserves the right to amend these Terms.
12.2 The most current version applies at the time of participation.
12.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
